There is now concrete in the hole in our dirt!

So a quick update on the house! Here are the forms (I believe that is what they are called) so that they can make the footings for the house out of concrete. Here is Clayton checking them out after they are poured. They were poured where the walls will be in our basement (especially load-bearing walls)
And here are the foundation walls. They are behind the wood that you see. This is the side of our house.
And this is the front of our house. That opening in front is our garage with the garage wall next to it.

And so the process continues!! We will keep you updated!!

This is the farmer sowing his corn,
That kept the cock that crowed in the morn,
That waked the priest all shaven and shorn,
That married the man all tattered and torn,
That kissed the maiden all forlorn,
That milked the cow with the crumpled horn,
That tossed the dog,
That worried the cat,
That killed the rat,
That ate the malt
That lay in the house that Jack built.

It looks like you guys are having a blast with all these new happenings in your life!! Hope you don't think my other comment is rude... I just thought it was appropriate, since you're building a house. :)

That is so exciting. Imagine having your own house, with a garage, and a yard!
